About the Project

UCAN is a volunteer-led educational initiative founded in October 2025 with a clear mission: to close the opportunity gap for students from underserved communities in London’s public schools.

We do this by providing two things students need most – practical support and strong professional networks. Through mentoring, one-on-one workshops, and career exposure, we connect students to the people and pathways that can shape their futures. Our goal is simple: to equip every student with the tools, confidence, and contacts they need to succeed.
